Bollywood debut film of Mawra Hocane may be named as ‘Sanam Teri Kasam
Young talent Mawra Hocane, who is facing the music after commenting on ‘Phantom’, the film which is opposed by media personalities due to its anti-Pakistan agenda.The title of her Bollywood debut film is may be ‘Sanam Teri Kasam’, Indian express reported.
The crew and case of Mawra Hocane debut film was in Cape Town last week . Sources of Indian paper confirmed that more than 50 percent of the shoot has been completed.
Some of the rumours that the film is a remake of Bollywood hit of 1982 ‘Sanam Teri Kasam’ starring Kamal Haasan and Reena Roy. Mawra however in her interaction to media said, it is love story comapred the plot to Aasahiqui 2, paper added.
Phantom Controversy:
Phantom who screenplay is written in coordination with author Hussain Zaidi’s book Mumbai Avengers on the aftermath of 26/11 Mumabi attack, after the movie’s trailer released the debate was initiated whether should be banned or not in Pakistan becasue anti-Pakistan content. Hamza Ali Abbasi, film star Shaan and TV presenter Faisal Quershi reacted vigorously. But Mawra without understanding sensitivity of the issue via her Twitter account tried to be a peace ambassador which don’t went so well for her. Shaan after her tweets, started a trend #BanMawra.
